MEDZEG TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MedZeg website, purchasing any digital products, enrolling in tutoring services, or subscribing to any MedZeg offerings, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our platform or services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and MedZeg ("MedZeg," "we," "us," or "our"). Your continued use of the platform following any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Services

MedZeg is an online educational platform specializing in anatomy and physiology study support. We offer the following services:

Digital Study Materials: MedZeg sells downloadable PDF study guides, chapter notes, flashcards, and other educational materials. These products are delivered digitally and are available for purchase individually or by chapter.

Subscription-Based Practice Test Library: MedZeg offers a recurring subscription service that grants access to a curated library of practice tests and review content. Subscription access is governed in detail under Section 6.

1-on-1 Tutoring Services: MedZeg offers personalized tutoring sessions focused on anatomy, physiology, and academic study strategies. Tutoring is conducted by qualified educators and is subject to the additional terms outlined in Section 9.

Educational Purpose Only: All content, materials, and services provided by MedZeg are strictly for educational purposes. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, clinical guidance, professional diagnosis, or treatment recommendations of any kind. Users should not rely on any MedZeg content for medical decision-making.

3. User Accounts

Certain features of the MedZeg platform, including subscription access and purchase history, may require you to create an account. By creating an account, you agree to the following:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update that information as necessary.

You may not share your account with any other person. Account sharing is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

You agree to notify MedZeg immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to or use of your account. MedZeg will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.

4. Payments and Pricing

Payment Terms: All purchases are processed at the time of transaction. By completing a purchase, you authorize MedZeg to charge the payment method provided for the applicable amount. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.

Subscription Billing: Subscription plans are billed on a recurring basis, either monthly or at the interval selected at the time of enrollment. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel prior to the renewal date in accordance with Section 6.

Right to Change Pricing: MedZeg reserves the right to adjust pricing for any product or service at any time. For active subscriptions, MedZeg will provide reasonable notice of any price changes prior to the next billing cycle. Continued use of the subscription following a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar charges imposed by your jurisdiction in connection with your purchases.

5. Refund Policy

Digital Downloads: Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of downloadable materials — including PDF study guides, chapter notes, and flashcards — are final once the product has been accessed or downloaded. No refunds will be issued after access has been granted.

Tutoring Services: If you need to cancel or reschedule a tutoring session, you must provide at least 24 hours' advance notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in forfeiture of the session fee. Sessions cancelled with sufficient notice may be rescheduled at MedZeg's discretion.

Subscriptions: Subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access through the end of your current billing period, but no partial refunds or prorated credits will be issued for unused time.

Exceptions: Refunds will only be considered in cases of documented technical failure caused by MedZeg that prevented access to purchased content, and only at MedZeg's sole discretion.

6. Subscription Terms

Recurring Billing: By enrolling in a MedZeg subscription, you expressly authorize MedZeg to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis at the applicable subscription rate. Billing occurs automatically at the start of each new billing cycle. It is your responsibility to ensure that your payment information remains current and accurate. It is also your responsibility to cancel your membership. If you have trouble cancelling your membership, please contact us.

Access to Practice Test Library: An active subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access the MedZeg practice test library for individual study purposes only. Access is limited to the duration of your active subscription period.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting MedZeg support. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will not be charged for subsequent periods following cancellation, but no refunds will be issued for the current period. It is also your responsibility to cancel your membership. If you have trouble cancelling your membership, please contact us.

No Partial Refunds: MedZeg does not issue partial or prorated refunds for subscription cancellations made mid-cycle, regardless of usage.

Termination by MedZeg: MedZeg reserves the right to suspend or terminate subscription access for any violation of these Terms, including but not limited to account sharing, unauthorized distribution of materials, or fraudulent activity. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership: All content available on the MedZeg platform — including but not limited to study guides, PDF notes, flashcards, practice tests, tutoring materials, graphics, text, and any other educational resources — is the exclusive intellectual property of MedZeg and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved.

Limited License: Upon purchase or subscription enrollment, MedZeg grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the purchased materials solely for your own private, non-commercial educational purposes. This license does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Strictly Prohibited Activities: You are prohibited from engaging in any of the following:

  • Sharing, distributing, or providing access to MedZeg materials to any other individual, whether for free or for compensation

  • Reselling, licensing, or otherwise commercializing any MedZeg content

  • Uploading, posting, or republishing any MedZeg materials to any third-party platform, website, file-sharing service, or online community

  • Reproducing, copying, or modifying MedZeg materials in whole or in part

  • Using MedZeg materials to create derivative works for distribution or sale

  • Circumventing any access controls or digital protections on MedZeg content

Consequences of Violations: Any unauthorized use, sharing, or distribution of MedZeg intellectual property constitutes a material breach of these Terms and an infringement of MedZeg's intellectual property rights. MedZeg reserves the right to immediately terminate your account and access without refund, pursue legal action for copyright infringement and damages, and seek injunctive relief and monetary compensation to the fullest extent permitted by law.

MedZeg actively monitors for unauthorized distribution of its materials and will not hesitate to enforce its intellectual property rights.

8. Academic Integrity

MedZeg materials are provided exclusively as study aids to support your own learning and understanding. You agree that you will not submit, present, or represent any MedZeg content — in whole or in part — as your own original work in any academic, professional, or institutional context.

MedZeg is not responsible for any academic integrity violations, disciplinary actions, or consequences arising from a user's misuse of our materials. It is your sole responsibility to comply with the academic integrity policies of your institution or program.

9. Tutoring Services Terms

Nature of Services: MedZeg tutoring services are designed to provide personalized educational guidance, concept clarification, and study strategy support in anatomy, physiology, and related subjects. Tutoring sessions are intended to help you better understand course material through instruction and mentorship.

No Guaranteed Outcomes: MedZeg does not guarantee any specific academic results, grades, or performance outcomes from participation in tutoring services. Individual results will vary based on a student's effort, preparation, and prior knowledge.

Academic Honesty in Tutoring: Tutors will not complete assignments, homework, essays, or assessments on behalf of any student. MedZeg tutors will not provide assistance that constitutes academic dishonesty, cheating, or a violation of any institutional academic integrity policy. Any request for such assistance will result in immediate termination of the session and may result in account suspension.

Scheduling and Conduct: Users are expected to arrive prepared for scheduled sessions and to engage respectfully with all MedZeg tutors. MedZeg reserves the right to discontinue tutoring services to any user who engages in disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate conduct.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MedZeg shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of academic standing, failure to achieve desired grades, loss of data, or any other damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform or services.

The MedZeg platform and all associated services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted access.

MedZeg's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to MedZeg in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer

All content provided by MedZeg — including study guides, notes, flashcards, practice materials, and tutoring instruction — is intended solely for general educational purposes related to the academic study of anatomy and physiology.

MedZeg is not a medical provider. No content or communication on this platform constitutes medical advice, clinical information, professional diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or a substitute for consultation with a licensed healthcare professional. Users should never use MedZeg content to make health-related decisions for themselves or others.

While Medzeg strives to provide accurate and up-to-date educational content, we make no representations or warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any materials. The content is provided for educational purposes only, and you acknowledge that any reliance on such information is at your own risk. Medzeg does not guarantee that any content provided is free from errors, complete, or current. 12. Termination

MedZeg reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account and access to any or all services at any time, with or without prior notice, if MedZeg reasonably believes that you have violated any provision of these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or acted in a manner harmful to MedZeg or other users.

Upon termination, your license to use all MedZeg materials is immediately revoked. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and governing law — shall survive.

13. Privacy Policy

Your use of the MedZeg platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the MedZeg platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to them or your use of the MedZeg platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Virginia for the resolution of any such disputes.

15. Changes to Terms

MedZeg reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. When changes are made, the updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
